Julien was born in Switzerland, but has lived most of his life away from his hometown: USA, Brazil, South Africa, Estonia before settling in Paris. Working with the fashion industry for many years, his approach to film has become almost photographic; he always tries to look for sincerity, beauty and emotion. He is particularly interested in films related to the world around him. His work consists in creating films that relate to this world, hoping to connect the viewer to something deep inside of him.
