Koichi was born in Qinghai Province, China, in 1989, then moved and grew up in Japan.. He pursued his education abroad and attended a film school in New York, USA. Presently, he directs both domestic and international TV commercials and web films, utilizing English, Chinese, and Japanese languages. Some of his notable works include brands such as Uniqlo, Sacai, Asahi super dry, Nikon, Yonex China. Koichi focuses on the quality of the images he creates, but also crosses over different cultures to create memorable films.

1989年中華人民共和国青海省生まれ、その後は日本で育つ。大学時代にNewYorkで映像を学ぶ。
現在は日本語・英語・中国語を駆使し、日本内外のプロジェクトでディレクターとして活動。代表作に、Uniqlo、sacai、Asahi superdry, Nikon、Yonex Chinaなどがある。徳平は映像そのものの質だけでなく、異なる文化を横断し、心に残る映像を作っている。
