D + Y, aka David Vu and Yasmin Hero are a filmmaking duo, dancers, choreographers, creative directors and videographers who have built a huge following on TikTok and Instagram, amounting to over half a million followers with dance videos and streetwear inspiration. Their love for movement and rhythm has not only shaped their lives but also their approach to filmmaking. Growing up in Oslo, they were fascinated by how dance can tell stories without a single word, using only the body’s movements and space around it.
